Why is make -DNOCLEAN You can use -DNO_KERNELDEPEND for kernel stuff if you're confident the=20 changes you're making won't impact on file dependencies. I have to wonder why you're doing it often though.. > buildworld kernel taking a long time rebuilding most parts? Shouldn't > it only build whatever has changed? Unfortunately due to limitations in the way make works and is being used=20 mean that there is a lot of crap to get through even if nothing is=20 actually done :( =2D-=20 Daniel O'Connor software and network engineer for Genesis Software - http://www.gsoft.com.au "The nice thing about standards is that there are so many of them to choose from." -- Andrew Tanenbaum GPG Fingerprint - 5596 B766 97C0 0E94 4347 295E E593 DC20 7B3F CE8C --nextPart1407241.IfmABDxWyz Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name=signature.asc Content-Description: This is a digitally signed message part. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.4 (FreeBSD) iD8DBQBHIbzr5ZPcIHs/zowRApDSAJ4gV3N0oRO+CR3Q4xlC15bpqu66UACdEKOS NuwHGWHTC8dT96g+xZgfq2U= =zbFU -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --nextPart1407241.IfmABDxWyz--
