Hi, I figured not all may follow freebsd-wireless so forwarding here. Please follow-up on freebsd-wireless or with me if possible. Lots of joy, /bz -- Bjoern A. Zeeb <bz@FreeBSD.org> To: FreeBSD wireless mailing list <wireless@freebsd.org> Subject: Realtek rtw89 - in main - help request Hi, I just added Realtek's rtw89 driver to main (CURRENT, HEAD we have too many names for that since CVS days). I've been sitting for too long on it (almost done) and figured that "you" could help if it was available. It is still disconected from the build, the man page is missing, .. but if added to sys/modules/Makefile would compile, load, load firmware, create a wireless interface, scan... I'll update https://wiki.freebsd.org/WiFi/Rtw89 in a bit to add any news I can think of. *** Important for rtw89 owners *** I know I exchanged emails with some of you before. If you have an rtw89 (89 not 88!) please drop me a line and mention (1) if you want to test as-is now; it would be good if the current state as I see it can be replicated (2) are able to help debugging and/or implementing what is left to pass packets (3) you cannot do (2) but you'd be willing to test changes if (1) worked for you. I'll be at EuroBSDCon next week, so my reply time may vary. If you have an rtw89 and be there definitively corner me! :) Thakns a lot, Bjoern -- Bjoern A. Zeeb r15:7
