https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=193807 Bug ID: 193807 Summary: VLC fails to use OSS backend after recent upgrade Product: Ports Tree Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: Needs Triage Severity: Affects Many People Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: freebsd-ports-bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: hselasky@FreeBSD.org Created attachment 147522 --> https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=147522&action=edit Updated OSS patch for VLC port. Hi, VLC fails with the OSS audio output backend because the return value from SNDCTL_DSP_GETODELAY is used improperly. The manual says: http://manuals.opensound.com/developer/SNDCTL_DSP_GETODELAY.html That the values is in number of bytes, but VLC thinks it is the number of buffer fragments buffered. I've updated an patch for VLC. Should be upstreamed! --HPS -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
