Over ESXi I'm trying to install or even use already installed VM with FreeBSD 9.0 RC3 (8.2 has the same symptoms). The main condition is - using physical controller LSI 1086 as passthroug device, configured at ESXi thru VT-d technology and it has to be added to FreeBSD virtual machine as PCI device.
