Hello,

Is there a specific guideline for upgrading Python-specific packages that
maintainers use? For example, the current 14.4-RELEASE includes
py311-pygobject. What is the required process to upgrade this to py312 or
py313?

If we need a newer version and create a port for it, would that cause
issues for the maintainers of the current version?

Best regards,
