No idea.  I can't imagine why it would be spewing that sort of stuff 
out on stdout/stderr.  Is this a development product, or something 
that's meant to be in production?

Have you tried ktracing it and running linux_kdump over the output?  
You should be fine with the package (you can't build the port at the 
moment).
