--- Comment #74 from Javi Hotmail <volkovdablo@hotmail.com> ---
So I've booted the Quad G5 onto 16.0. It seems to boot fine, however I'm
finding the same issue that I'm experiencing on 15.1:
- The computer will freeze (in a random fashion) for a number of seconds
(sometimes close to 40 seconds) and resume later.

Now, the interesting part is that for me it seems to happen whenever I'm
interacting with USB (for example mounting a USB drive and moving data), or
plugin my 3.0 Hub on the machine.

I seem to get the issue:
uhub_reattach_port: device problem (USB_ERR_TIMEOUT), disabling port X
usb_alloc_device: set address 4 failed (USB_ERR_TIMEOUT, ignored)
whenever I have the 3.0 Hub connected while booting. This might be a separate
issue.

I was doing a DD as a test (with SMP enabled) and I hit a kernel trap on
pmac_thermal, looks like within powerpc_interrupt+0x1cc.

However, if I'm to tinkering with the USB, it seems work fine (I just tested it
for about 20 minutes).

Javi.
