Yes, it is very strange.  Yesterday, all of the kernels I compiled were bombing
in devfs_find().  Today, the kernels I've tried are now bombing in
devfs_vmkdir().  I compiled today using minimal CFLAGS, just "-O -pipe", no
-march stuff.
