Runnign 2.1.7....decided to change my passwd the other day and found that the above file is missing...interesting I thought. Ive never changed a passwd here yet...I'm the only user here but have my dialup always on and figure its better safe than sorry about that and make a few things more secure in regards to passwords... Anyway I figure no prob...load the live file system and copy it over from cdrom...I do that and put it in usr/bin and try to run it and get the follwing error: bash# passwd ld.so failed: Cant find shared library "libkadm.so.2.0" I notice to that my yppasswd file is 0 byte length. How on earth is this and is it fixable? I dont think I have ever run passwd here so never ran accross this utnil now. Thanks for any pointers. Keith kwoody@citytel.net
