Hi, If someone, specially a mechanical engineer, is interested in a FEM program, there is one for X called FElt that could compile easily. I haven`t compiled it because we are not registered and I can`t download it. If you want to take a look, the URL is: http://www-cse.ucsd.edu/users/atkinson/FElt it is known to work under LINUX, AIX, and SGI, and the author would like to know about it`s workings on other machines. regards, Pedro.
