I do not at all object.  This has been on my plate (particularly with
respect to fixing the broken Kerberos bits) for a long time now, and
every time I try to work on it, I end up pulling my hair in
frustration and moving on to something more productive, like reading
netnews.

At the time the port was created, the snapshot was all there was.
