Hi all,

We have two 4.1-RC systems, working with 3.23.x with no noticeable problems.
But, we had a 3.22.32 before, and it was dying unexpectedly with
"Segmentation fault" or "Bus error" errors.
Also, because sql_yacc.cc would've taken so much time to compile on FreeBSD
with -O3, I've used a supplied patch in the ports to compile it with -O0.
Other than that, I've compiled MySQL with -O3 and it works great now.

So, to sum it up:

3.22.32 had problems all the time.
3.23.x doesn't have the same problems.

Both were compiled with the same parameters, and with same optimizations. If
you need the patch for yacc, look in
/usr/ports/databases/mysql322-server/patches, and look for patch-aq.

No CFLAGS for the one I have build. Thought I don't know with which
options the port version is compiled.
