You might want to read the "Server Farm" thread on -stable running since two(?) days, talking about "make installworld" based on "make buildword" output generated somewhere else. At least it did in the beginning. :) But this solution assumes you're not scared of running the machine as a network filesystem client (no matter if NFS or something different).
