The frequency on some high cost boards was much more of double then of all the boards up to x370 chipset. This is where you will see the most difference in stabilizing your system. Cooling also affects it much. Disabling cores will= do nothing, i have programs that crash running only on one single core and i h= ave programs that never crash the system running on all cores.
