Clock on my server runs very fast. It is about twice faster,=20

and I think it is not good for a server. I'm running 5.1R. =20

The problem did not occur under 4.4R, 4.7R, or 4.8R=20

on the same PC. I know FreeBSD doesn't read time=20

from CMOS Clock. Right after rebooting the machine,=20

date command shows me a correct time because of=20

xntpd in rc.conf. The PC has AMD 350 MHz IBM Aptiva. =20

I pasted information of Timercounter =1B$B!H=1B(Bi8254=1B$B!I=1B(B and =
=1B$B!H=1B(BTSC=1B$B!I=1B(B=20

from dmesg.today below.

Timecounter "TSC" frequency 349180042 Hz

CPU: AMD-K6(tm) 3D processor (349.18-MHz 586-class CPU)

=20

I added each line below on my kernel and configured as someone=20

suggested me but it didn=1B$B!G=1B(Bt work.=20

=20

#options CLK_USE_TSC_CALIBRATION =20

=20

#options TIMER_FREQ=3D2359004

=20

#options CLK_USE_i8254_CALIBRATION =20

=20

Also, someone suggested me that I might modify clock.c file in=20

/usr/src/sys/i386/isa/ but I didn=1B$B!G=1B(Bt know how to modify it.

=20

Does anyone have any idea or know where should I ask?
