Patrick,

   Thanks for the info..but maybe I didn't state my question 
correctly... I know where to get the PAO boot... however is it 
necessary to get pcmcia support? ie, can you use the normal boot disk 
then simply configure the kernel?

Download the PAO boot disk just like you would for the standard kernel.
