Hi, I've added DTrace support to GHC for FreeBSD. As it turns out this sadly breaks the ability to function as a bootstrap compiler. I'm currently trying to get in a flag for 8.4.2 to disable DTrace as a temporary workaround until I've fixed the actual issue. I just wanted to give you a heads up to not upgrade the port to anything higher than 8.2.x at the moment. Kind regards, raichoo
