Here's another question for y'all... If you look at the full headers of my messge, you'll see part of the problem. My username on my FreeBSD box is seanmike, and my e-mail address is highway@cstone.net. When I send mail using Netscape Messenger, it lists the "Sender:" as "seanmike". Many mail clients receiving the mail don't like having a different sender as e-mail address, but it does it even if I change my address to "seanmike@cstone.net" or my username to highway. This has prevented me from posting to at least one mailing list - the spam-l one - and made for some weird reply-to: addresses. Some people end up replying to seanmike@cstone.net... Anyone else seen this? The only other time I've seen that is on a Linux machine also running NS. Any idea on how to get it fixed? I'd like to get mail locally by right now that's not possible due to the crappiness of the machine. :-) Thanks in advance, SeanMike -- SeanMike Whipkey - highway@cstone.net - http://www.cstone.net Engineering Department, Cornerstone Networks, Inc. - 804.817.7000 "This is a world where a geomantically-trained ninja interior decorator can wreak havoc." - Feng Shui [paraphrased] To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
