Sorry about the line length. I will try that. Right now I am using XFree 4.0.1 in SuSE, but used 3.3.6 in the past. I have never had any problems with either in Linux. Unfortunately, when I try to use X windows in FreeBSD, my monitor dies, as I have stated.
