Hi! I finally got around to update OpenJDK 25 to version 25.0.2 in the FreeBSD ports tree. It will hit the pkg repos for those following the `latest` update stream soon. Those following the `quarterly` updates will get it in the next quarterly release (early April, or thereabout.) https://cgit.freebsd.org/ports/commit/?id=0f26e39d7ca5ce36187a0ace48921a7f27682351 The upstream release notes for this release is here: https://www.oracle.com/java/technologies/javase/25-0-2-relnotes.html In addition I have included a fix that affects FreeBSD due to the way jemalloc handles alignment for small allocations. Upstream has scheduled this for OpenJDK 26, but since version 25 is an LTS release I thought it would make sense to include it here so that users that run LTS releases don't have to wait until the next LTS release to get it. https://bugs.openjdk.org/browse/JDK-8371637 Thanks to The FreeBSD Foundation for sponsoring my work on OpenJDK for FreeBSD. Also today, the default Java version on FreeBSD has been updated to version 21, thanks to the tireless work of Ronald Klop! https://cgit.freebsd.org/ports/commit/?id=17e021a44eccbfd4fbef6352436f6d7c06a517a6 -- Harald Eilertsenhome | help
