FreeBSD firedragon.cs.caltech.edu 4.6-RELEASE FreeBSD 4.6-RELEASE #0: Tue Jun 11 06:14:12 GMT 2002 murray@builder.freebsdmall.com:/usr/src/sys/compile/GENERIC i386
>Description:
kernel compiles successfully with the line "device pcm" in the kernel config file
kernel (Both 4.4 and 4.6) freezes after displaying the following two lines
pcm0: <NeoMagic MagicMedia 256 AV SVGA Controller> at 0.0 irq 10
pcm0: <NeoMagic 256AV> mem 0xfea00000-0xfeafffff, 0xf7800000-0xf7bfffff irq 10
at device 0.1 on PCI 1
I believe I have a NeoMagic integrated sound/video card so maybe the interrupt
irq 10 is shared between the two devices?
>How-To-Repeat:
Have tried numerous times with both 4.4 and 4.6 kernel with a number
of pcm configs. none worked.
