Thanks for the suggestion=2C Mike. I've just tested both FreeBSD/amd64 6.3 = and 7.0 releases with both 1.43 and 1.44 Areca firmware revisions=2C but no= thing seems changed: 6.3 boots up=2C while 7.0 hangs! :( You can confirm me that you are successfully using FreeBSD 7.0R with the 1.= 43 firmware? If it's so=2C we might compare our hardware components to find= out if and what are differences... Thanks a lot for your help. ---------------------------------------- > From: mike@sentex.net > To: andrew.hotlab@hotmail.com > Subject: Re: Areca ARC-1120 on FreeBSD 7.0 > Date: Tue=2C 12 Aug 2008 08:13:56 -0400 >=20 > On Mon=2C 11 Aug 2008 22:54:41 +0000=2C in sentex.lists.freebsd.hardware > you wrote: >>arcmsr0: mem 0xfc7ff000-0xfc7fffff=2C0xfc000000-0xfc3fffff irq 31 at dev= ice 14.0 on pci2 >>arcmsr0: Reserved 0x1000 bytes for rid 0x10 type 3 at 0xfc7ff000 >>ARECA RAID ADAPTER0: Driver Version 1.20.00.15 2007-10-07=20 >>ARECA RAID ADAPTER0: FIRMWARE VERSION V1.39 2006-2-9 =20 >=20 >=20 > Not sure it will help you or not=2C but I run the same card with version > 1.43 of the firmware.
