the new mac os x is supposed to have been built on freebsd. i think it's worth
checking out. last time i checked i think it was still in beta. i only got to
play with it for a little while, i actually was wondering where you would make
kernel modifications like for natd, i couldn't find the kernel. then again i
wasn't looking too hard.
