Is it possible to achieve the following: Machine 1: Machine 2: -------------------------------------- ----------------------------------- --- eth2 20Mbit/s <---> eth0 10Mbit/s <-------> eth0 10Mbit/s <---> eth2 20Mbit/s eth1 10Mbit/s <-------> eth1 10Mbit/s -------------------------------------- ----------------------------------- --- Two FreeBSD machines connected to a single network segment on both sides (eg bridging mode). The bandwidth on eth2 is the combined speed of eth0 and eth1. This exists AFAIK on some Cisco routers (certainly others too). The issue here is that it has to be a bridged network.
