I will be a public mirror, I'm already hosting cvsup17.freebsd.org, and I would like to host ftpX.freebsd.org as well. I actually have a mirror in place at the following URL: ftp://freebsd.mirrortree.com/pub/FreeBSD I just need to get access to ftp-master.freebsd.org so that I can use an rsync server instead of wget. I would also like to get an ftpx.freebsd.org name. On another note: I would also be interested in becoming an IPv6 mirror for both cvsup and ftp. -----Original Message----- From: Will Andrews [mailto:will@physics.purdue.edu] Posted At: Thursday, July 12, 2001 5:04 PM Posted To: freebsd-hubs Conversation: rsync access to ftp-master.freebsd.org Subject: Re: rsync access to ftp-master.freebsd.org On Thu, Jul 12, 2001 at 04:33:18PM -0700, Tim Flowers (tim@ahaza.com) wrote: > Does anyone know how I can gain rsync access to ftp-master? > > I was told that i should sent an email to peter@freebsd.org, but I > haven't gotten any responce from him. > > Also I would be interested in becoming an official FreeBSD mirror. Not if you are just "interested". Consult the hubs@ archive to find out more about being a mirror. -- wca To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-hubs" in the body of the message To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-hubs" in the body of the messagehelp
