I will be a public mirror, I'm already hosting cvsup17.freebsd.org, and
I would like to host ftpX.freebsd.org as well.

I actually have a mirror in place at the following URL:

ftp://freebsd.mirrortree.com/pub/FreeBSD

I just need to get access to ftp-master.freebsd.org so that I can use an
rsync server instead of wget. I would also like to get an
ftpx.freebsd.org name.

On another note: I would also be interested in becoming an IPv6 mirror
for both cvsup and ftp.

You can only gain access to ftp-master if you will be a public
mirror. Not if you are just "interested".

Consult the hubs@ archive to find out more about being a mirror.
