Hi,

Ok, I think I made some progress. Between 2 people I was able to
get the BIOS on the DAC960 up to 2.70, not the 2.73 I had hoped, but every
little bit is help.

I used the ACRCF utility I was given, and flubbed around for a while
until I think I figured out how to get the disks set up. I then Initialized
them. When I booted FreeBSD, it saw them as ONLINE!!!!! (But, Raid-7....
Hrm, is that a problem, or just a "feature")

I tried to set it up, doing an (A)utomatic on mlxd0... But for
some reason it won't newfs properly. Its set as 131,0 ... I tried to
do the Fixit, newfs by hand, and it just won't do it. I forget the exact
error, it might have been Invalid Arguement.

Any hints where to go next? Should I be going BACKWARDS because of
something?

		Thanks, Tuc/TTSG Internet Services, Inc.
