I just booted from the CAM floppy for the first time today, or I would
have replied sooner.  It recognized fxp0 on my machine without any
problems.  The machine is a Toshiba Equium with the Intel Ethernet
chip on the motherboard.  I don't know why it's not working for you,
but the driver is definitely configured into the kernel on the floppy.
