Test setup is exactly the same as in 179033. The behavior under Linux would also be the same. Under BSD, when there are dc cards in the system it rarely detects the native re nic on the mother board when booting. When it is detected it often crashes at the instant it prints the nic information line, though that is hard to reproduce.
