Synopsis: System lockup State-Changed-From-To: open->feedback State-Changed-By: kris State-Changed-When: Thu Jul 17 17:52:07 PDT 2003 State-Changed-Why: Does this persist with more recent releases? Does the system panic, or lock up with no messages on the console? If it panics, please obtain a debugging traceback as explained in http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/developers-handbook/kerneldebug.html If it just locks up with no status messages, it might be due to failing hardware, Try replacing the hardware and see if the problem persists. http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=42805
