Remember: We're not thinking so much "FTP site administrator" here now as we are "DNS administrator" - if ftp2.de.freebsd.org melts down, for example, it's really the DNS person's responsibility to "fill the slot" more than it is anything else. The site administrators of the actual ftp2.de.freebsd.org (not to pick on ftp2 in particular, just using it as an example) could appeal to the DNSmeister if and when their site came back up. The rest of the FreeBSD world would, of course, continue on mostly oblivious to the whole thing, which is as it should be. Jordan
