[-- Attachment #1 --] Ok, I setup ppp.conf like the book says, filled in my stuff, I type "dial ISP," it tries to dial, but my modem doesn't go when its supposed to. How do I get it to recognize that the modem is there and to use it? ( I think it recognizes it as I boot.... but doesn't dial ) [-- Attachment #2 --] <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD W3 HTML//EN"> <HTML> <HEAD> <META content=text/html;charset=iso-8859-1 http-equiv=Content-Type> <META content='"MSHTML 4.72.3110.7"' name=GENERATOR> </HEAD> <BODY bgColor=#ffffff> <DIV><FONT color=#000000 size=2>Ok, I setup ppp.conf like the book says, filled in my stuff, I type "dial ISP," it tries to dial, but my modem doesn't go when its supposed to.
