https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D250332 Bug ID: 250332 Summary: zfs(8) manpage subcommand lines missing Product: Documentation Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Many People Priority: --- Component: Manual Pages Assignee: bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: ivanngeow@gmail.com CC: doc@FreeBSD.org Created attachment 218731 --> https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=3D218731&action= =3Dedit missing subcommand lines On the Subcommands section of the zfs(8) manpage, a subcommand is listed followed by the description of what it does, and its options. When rendered on the FreeBSD manpage site, the line that states the subcomm= and (eg 'zfs create [-pu] [-o property=3Dvalue]... filesystem') is missing. This problem is seen across all display formats rendered by the site: html, ascii, pdf. It has been reproduced using the Micro$oft Edge (screenshot attached) and Firefox browsers. This problem occurs when viewing the 12.1-RELEASE and 11.4-RELEASE versions= of the manpage. eg https://www.freebsd.org/cgi/man.cgi?query=3Dzfs&apropos=3D0&sektion=3D0&man= path=3DFreeBSD+12.1-RELEASE+and+Ports&arch=3Ddefault&format=3Dhtml This problem is NOT seen when viewing the 10.4-RELEASE version of the manpa= ge. https://www.freebsd.org/cgi/man.cgi?query=3Dzfs&apropos=3D0&sektion=3D0&man= path=3DFreeBSD+10.4-RELEASE&arch=3Ddefault&format=3Dhtml IMPACT: The manpage is essentially useless for its purpose of being a reference for= the subcommands, if the subcommand it is describing is missing. The impact is H= IGH. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.=
