I've been considering setting up a newserver here, and allowing restricted
NNTP connections from specific hosts, for a minimal cost (the numbers
bouncing around in my head are $9.95/month per connection).  The company I
work for is established, so it would be on the professional level. 

I am not familiar with common charges in this respect.
