I've asked some stupid questions... :) And I think (and many others,) feel that having more then one point technical contact is too many. Again, questions get missed, or maybe answered wrong. As I've pointed out even if we make -newbies a -newbie list... who is going to decide what is a newbie question and what isn't? Again, most the technical posts I've seen on the list have not been newbie type questions, questions that were not only not answered, but not even cross posted in -questions where they should have been in the first place. On top of that, most people simply do not read. They are going to continue posting their questions to -newbies wether it be changed to include newbie questions or not. Again, I belive that to be a greater disservice to those people (who admittedly really should get what they deserve... but I digress on that point,) and to the people on -newbies who can't even begin to answer those questions.
