Where, specifically, do you want to purchase the book? If you purchase the book from www.freebsdmall.com, then you are certainly supporting a company that has done a lot for the FreeBSD community. The money spent at FreeBSDMall will be used to pay a team of developers to continue working on FreeBSD, as well as to allow more products to be made and distributed to retail stores world-wide. If you buy the book from iUniverse.com, a small percentage of the proceeds are supposed to go somewhere, but that "somewhere" might be the FSF as far as I know. Nik will have to clarify here. You can also buy the 1st Edition Handbook from BSDi through several other resellers, but obviously more middle-persons are taking a cut along the way. - Murray --4ndw/alBWmZEhfcZ Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Disposition: inline -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (SunOS) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iD8DBQE7poFJtNcQog5FH30RAmv4AKCKeWHyh1cI/pbtHmJ8tmHOf5A1IACgyQYH gqL+9HRnPeVF8C/eBb3u9Sg= =qvJo -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --4ndw/alBWmZEhfcZ-- To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-doc" in the body of the message
