Hi! I have two systems with a DLINK Gigabit Ethernet Card. It doesn't work under CURRENT: FreeBSD geclab2.mpe-garching.mpg.de 5.0-CURRENT FreeBSD 5.0-CURRENT #1: Mon Nov 11 10:27:48 CET 2002 sutter@geclab2.mpe-garching.mpg.de:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/GECLAB2 i386 lge0: <Level 1 Gigabit Ethernet> port 0xb000-0xb0ff \ mem 0xd0000000-0xd00003ff irq 11 at device 1.0 on pci5 lge0: Ethernet address: 00:50:ba:71:2d:cc lge0: MII without any PHY! device_probe_and_attach: lge0 attach returned 6 The card works perfect under 4.6: lge0: <Level 1 Gigabit Ethernet> port 0xb000-0xb0ff \ mem 0xd0000000-0xd00003ff irq 11 at device 1.0 on pci5 lge0: Ethernet address: 00:50:ba:71:2d:c3 miibus1: <MII bus> on lge0 xmphy0: <Jato 1000baseX media interface> on miibus1 xmphy0: 1000baseSX, 1000baseSX-FDX, auto I already tried swapping the cards, sockets, computers, etc. Nothing changes. 4.6 on any machine with any of the two giga cards works. It does not work the other way round.
