I am getting about 5 messages a day on this. No kidding!
While I thoroughly enjoy reading each and every one of them, here is a
summary for all those who want to know.

* I had surgery on both my feet, which put me on my kister for few
   weeks.

* Prior to that my wife had a horribly difficult pregnancy.

* My 8th child Kaily Alianna shapiro was born healthy and my wife is
recovering from most of the damage.

* DPT is very eager to have me complete the work. I will get all the
   support I need from them.BOOTDEV

* I am eager to complete these drivers.

* I am tentatively scheduled to be in Florida next week to work on
these drivers. An Alpha version will be available by EOM April.

* DPTMGR (RAID Utilities for DPT controllers) will follow shortly
   after.

* We are not sure yet what is the exact form this code will take.
Some complications may force binary-only on certain pieces. At
   least for a while.

* I will continue to support these products and promise to do a better
job at respongding and solving problems.

* My employer is not involved in any way shape or form in any of this,
except for some mildly amused interest and tolerance of my behavior.
So, please do NOT call MindSpring for DPT questions, only to sign
   up, etc.

* When something is publishable, it will be posted in
http:/simon-shapiro.org, and or at my FTP server at the same place.

Hope this helps y'll...
