Hi 1. I have jdk-1.4.2p6_1 installed on fbsd-5.2 $ xset +fp /usr/local/jdk1.4.2/jre/lib/fonts $ /usr/local/jdk1.4.2/jre/bin/ControlPanel Warning: Cannot convert string "-b&h-lucida-medium-r-normal-sans-*-140-*-*-p-*-iso8859-1" to type FontStruct $ I can get rid this warning only by adding line -- LucidaTypewriterRegular.ttf -b&h-lucida-medium-r-normal-sans-0-0-0-0-p-0-iso8859-1 -- to /usr/local/jdk1.4.2/jre/lib/fonts/fonts.dir What is "right" solution for this problem ? 2. Another problem: I do not know how to configure default java fonts, now I have too large characters in X java applications or applets. Example site: http://www.sjpc.org/ssh/ Can anybody advice - how to configure default java fonts ? -- Vladimir B. Grebenschikov <vova@sw.ru> SWsoft Inc.
