If you send mail to cgd@netbsd.org saying "I like the bus-space design, but I'd like to see the rest of the bus interface design developed in this way....", I think you'll get a contructive response that will either confirm your direction or shoot the hot air out of your balloon. Who knows, you may be able to move NetBSD along too.
