Sure, I will turn it off and report back. This all started with similar lockups even without the SMART monitor, = and I used the monitor as a reference because it would reliably lock up one of = the channels right away. I have at least one other thing to try that used to trigger bad things - creating a geom_stripe array. However, since it really messed my system = up last time I tried it I'll wait until right after a full backup to run = the test. Thank you for your efforts S=F8ren! /Daniel Eriksson
