Hi all I have been informed by a friend that <quote> "there have been many updates to the IPFW code including a nasty bug with sateful (sic) firewalling that is fixed in 4.3." </quote> The only reference to ipfw updates I could find since the release of 4.0 is in the release notes for 4.3, viz: "...A bug in ipfw(8) and ip6fw(8) in which inbound TCP segments could incorrectly be treated as being part of an "established" connection has been fixed (see security advisory FreeBSD-SA-01:08)...." Am I missing something??? TIA /wiZZ To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
