Today i compiled a groff with aout format. This one is working. My guess is, that something in the elf world is broken, maybe the c++ compiler. A groff package complains whith that message: checking that C++ compiler can compile simple program... yes checking that C++ static constructors and destructors are called... no configure: error: a working C++ compiler is required Setting /etc/objformat to aout let configure running without problems. Can someone with an elf system reproduce this behaviour? I'm not sure if this error happens only for me or for others too. -- Frank Nobis Email: PGP AVAILABLE Landgrafenstr. 130 dg3dcn http://www.radio-do.de/~fn/ 44139 Dortmund Powered by FreeBSD To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-current" in the body of the message
