Hi,
I have searched through the archives but didn't find any reference to another
address than this one to send this request, it this is the wrong place please
correct me. :)
I'm writing to ask if I may set up an official FreeBSD mirror on ftp.rhnet.is
in Iceland.
I'm seting this machine up with a public mirror of many open source projects.
Our machine at RHnet is called draupnir.rhnet.is and is connected with a 45Mb
connection to NorduNET Denmark and we have from 100-1000Mb peering connections
inside Iceland.
RHnet is the Icelandic University Research Network.
My intentions are to do a full mirror, that is everything over cvsup and ftp.
I would also like to ask how one should go about to ask for a change in the
administration of is.freebsd.org as the person running it is most of the time
unavailable, is connected on a small (2Mb) connection and doesn't update
anything on a daily bases.
