Hi Gunnar,
After logging in as root, use the passwd command to change the root
password then use the update command to write the new password file back
to the floppy. Update also writes back files in /etc, so you can, say,
add a /etc/rc.conf.local using ee then save it to the floppy. As for
adding users, you might try adding adduser to the crunch.conf file. See
the man documentation for 
the details.
