What you see on your screen is in PPM format. I tried running it as just qcamcontrol and get all sorts of wierd characters on my xterm... i tried piping it to a .jpg file by doing qcamcontrol > test.jpg and then viewing it with cjpeg, i get junk again? I will see if cv can look at it.
