Most of the config will be handled by Samba. - http://www.samba.org
Alot of documentation exist for configuring SAMBA to handle Windoze Network.

All you need to configure on the BSD box is your Basic TCP settings, like IP
and gateway, unless you have a DHCP server somewhere on the Network.

Also, I think you should join the other BSD mailing list, since this one is
mainly for ISP related stuff.
