For my clarification (i.e. this is a question):

The AMPAK chip uses a broadcom chipset that speaks ARM AMBA (Advanced
Microcontroller Bus Architecture) over SDIO?

bhnd(4)/bcma(4) driver - for speaking AMBA to a broadcom (Home Network
Device) chipset. Seems to be lots of open stuff in phabricator.
CAM/MMC - for communicating over an SDIO interconnect. The driver is
in play here: https://reviews.freebsd.org/D4761?id=14398
