We found that MALLOC_OPTIONS was set to X in our env, which was causing cores
with above aslr patch for compat/10 libraries.
Setting MALLOC_OPTIONS = "XDm" resolves the core issue with compat/10
libraries.
But I am not sure how that patch impacted compat/10.
