https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D265284 --- Comment #4 from Miguel Arroz <arroz@me.com> --- Some more data: I'm not sure my theory holds. Today I tried: FreeBSD running on QEMU (UTM) under virtualization (not emulation): same result, java crashes. However=E2=80=A6 Debian running on QEMU (UTM) also under virtualization: openjdk11 seems to = work fine, at least it builds and runs a simple Hello World. I could not test on VMWare because the Debian installer wont boot for some reason. Either OpenJDK on Linux is already dealing with X^W (I couldn't find any in= fo that makes be believe so, I think OpenJDK only supports that on macOS for n= ow since it's required) or the whole W^X is a red herring and that is not what= 's causing the problem here. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
