FYI, I just did a chunk of it this morning. I used a 5.2.1-RELEASE-p9 system to grab a 5-Current via cvs: make buildworld make -DALWAYS_CHECK_MAKE buildkernel KERNCONF=GENERIC I'll have to go home to install+reboot, but it finished building.
